Update (Radio Station, new videos, etc.)

What's up yall. I know I haven't posted the last few days. I've been working on this new radio station, but its been nerve racking, so that's why there has been a delay. It will definitely be worth it though, and I hope that yall check it out once its up. I can't give away too many details about it right now because I want people to be able to fully enjoy it's up and running, but just know that it's something that you are going to enjoy. I think there are very few stations like this, so I'm excited. It's going to be an online station, so just stay tuned. There were some technical difficulties earlier, but that's why I'm typing this so late because I think I finally worked them out. We will see in the next couple days.

In other news, today T.I. is supposed to be sentenced to jail. He just goes to court today, he is not actually getting locked up, but you already know that I will be posting my thoughts regarding that situation when it comes. For now, all I can say is that I wish him the best and that we will look forward to his return once he goes in. Once sentenced (I think the trial is just to establish that he did fulfill all of his "pre-jail" requirements), he will then be given a certain number of days to turn himself in, or he will have the option of turning himself in immediately (this is all from what I understand the situation to be). However, if you are a big T.I. fan, cherish the last few days before he goes away for a year and one day. Just know that he's not dying, he will just be M.I.A. for a while.

Finally, since I don't have too much for you guys today, I thought I'd post some new(er) videos up just to see what your thoughts are on them. I'm real excited about the Slaughterhouse one. As I'm sure you know, I'm a HUGE fan of the group and I think that they are definitely putting hip hop on their backs (along with a few others). The more I hear, the more that I want the album. Anyway, I'll let you check out that video and a few more. Let me know what you think. Another blog is coming soon, I promise. Until then, hit me straightouttahiphop@gmail.com or at twitter.com/her_lover.

Oh, and this is real random, but can I say that this quote by Kanye on the VH1 Storytellers was absolutely hilarious; "My greatest pain in life is that I will never get to see me perform, besides on playback.  So, you will get to know a pleasure I will never have."  Lol keep 'em coming Kanye.

  Can't wait for this album!

Song was crazy, and the album was pretty nice. I might do a review on it, even though it would be a little dated. But who cares? I can do what I want lol. If you haven't gotten the album yet, go get it.

How are people feeling about Asher Roth? I hate to say it because it's really clique, but he definitely reminds me of Eminem. It's not just that he's white, but the craziness in the rhymes is classic Slim Shady. Yall feeling him at all? Are you buying the album when it comes out?

Peace.
