What's up everybody?! This is the first blog so I'm excited. This blog will just be my thoughts and opinions mostly on things within the hip hop world but also things in entertainment in general and anything else that I may want to talk about. I also want you all to feel free to comment as well (to comment, just hit the "Add Comment" link below).

Now with all that being said, I know this is the first one, but I have to complain about something right now. I know that everybody might be sick of it, but I have to talk about it because it has been bugging me and this is the first time for me to really get it off my chest: Swag. STOP IT!!!!! I'm tired about hearing swag in every line of every song. There are only a few people in the entire industry that need to be allowed to say the word swag at this point. The first true artist with swag, at least in my belief, was Slick Rick. The jewelry and stories was all he needed. Jay-Z also brought swagger to the game with his dope dealer first mentality (which almost everybody in the industry is following). Finally, T.I. was the one that brought it to the forefront. Starting with the album King and then really beating it into people's head on T.I. vs. T.I.P. With the exception of few others, these are the people who should really deserve the credit for swag. Everybody else (with the exception of few) just QUIT!
